This high-quality tonewood often appears on much pricier guitars and is part of what makes a Taylor sound like a Taylor. Sitka spruce’s light weight and tonal qualities help notes ring true with balance and sustain. The Big Baby Taylor also features a sturdy maple neck, an ebony fingerboard, and layered walnut back and sides that focus your sound with bold definition.

Coming in at 15/16 the size of a standard dreadnought, the Big Baby Taylor is small enough to feel different yet it looks and sounds nearly identical to a full-sized dreadnought. Its slim, comfortable profile makes the Big Baby the perfect option for beginners or those who find the Baby Taylor or a GS Mini a bit too small for their needs.

The ES-B system is one of the most natural and warm-sounding acoustic-electric designs on the market because it’s based on elements of Taylor's acclaimed Expression System 2.
